In the third quarter of the game (which ended 61-0) player #75 from Champion Christian was engaged in rough play (a more concentrated and focused physical engagement with a player from Elk Creek than there had been up to that point in the game). At the end of the play as #75 was getting up from his engagement with the Elk Creek player the Champion Christian player pushed downward the Elk Creek player and said, "F*** you, bitch!". We penalized #75 for the push (Personal Foul - 15 yards) and told him to keep his mouth quiet. 1 or 2 plays later #75 was again engaged in contact above and beyond what was necessary or appropriate for the play. As I came in to verbally try and stop the players and separate them #75 from Champion Christian was on the bottom and #76 from Elk Creek was on top. Before I could intervene #75 from Champion Christian took a swing at and hit the Elk Creek player in the helmet. #76 from Elk Creek then took a swing at and hit the Champion Christian player in the helmet. Both players were immediately ejected and both coaches were given explanations for the ejections.
